Stewarton and District Rifle Club offers an indoor 25 yard range with three lanes.

The range is suitable for rifle and pistol target shooting using .22LR and airguns.

The range can be used for Prone, Benchrest and free standing shooting.

We shoot both Match and Light Sporting rifles in .22LR and airguns.

We meet on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7pm onwards.

The 2026 Club Competitions begin 1st April and should be completed by 31st October.

The Club has introduced a new benchrest competition to be known as the

Owen Russell Trophy in memory of club member Owen Russell,

a keen benchrest shooter who sadly passed away last year.



APRIL - Hewit Cup - BENCHREST,  4 Targets based on MacRae handicap.

APRIL - LSR Quaich - ELBOWS, 8 Targets of 5 shots each with no handicap.


MAY - Bonnet Guild Trophy - MATCH, 4 Targets based on MacRae handicap.


JUNE - Centenary Cup - LSR freestanding, 4 Targets with 10 shots based on MacRae handicap.


JULY - Hume Trophy - MATCH, 4 Targets based on MacRae handicap.

JULY - Owen Russell Trophy - BENCH, 4 Targets based on MacRae handicap.


AUGUST - A. Gourlay Cup - MATCH, 4 Targets based on MacRae handicap.


SEPTEMBER - McFadzean Shield - BENCH, 4 Targets based on MacRae handicap.


OCTOBER - COOPERS CUP - LSR Freestanding, 4 Targets with 10 shots based on MacRae handicap.


Anytime - Kilmaurs Shield for Juniors under 18 - Elbows, 4 Targets with 10 shots, no handicap.


The Bonnet Guild Trophy is to be shot by the end of May.

Each competition is £3 to enter and all cards must be shot by the end of October.
